New POLITICO/Morning Consult polling shows that a majority of Americans support the public health measures being instituted to fight the virus – and blame the elected officials spreading anti-vax propaganda.

"Today, the Senate Budget Committee has introduced a transformative budget resolution that will achieve the vision of President Biden and Congressional Democrats to Build Back Better, by expanding opportunity, prosperity and justice For The People.
"A budget should be a statement of our values, and this budget is a clear declaration of the value that Congressional Democrats place on America's workers and families. This resolution paves the path for progress for millions of Americans, including by creating good-paying jobs, building on our investments in infrastructure and supercharging America's global competitiveness and economic growth.

It's with great sadness that I begin this coming together with the tribute to Richard Trumka, a great hero for America's working families. Suddenly, we got the news yesterday that, as he was with his family camping – what a sad occasion, but also a beautiful way to pass on for this version, from this version of life.

"The Congress and Country are shocked and heartbroken by the passing of an unsurpassed titan of labor: Richard Trumka. Personally and officially, I am greatly saddened by his passing, which is a great loss for the men and women of labor, and indeed, for all hard-working Americans.
