Washington, D.C. – Speaker Nancy Pelosi today announced that Emily Berret, longtime Director of Operations in the Office of the Speaker, has been named Deputy Chief of Staff, following the departure of Diane Dewhirst. Berret joins Deputy Chiefs of Staff George Kundanis and Drew Hammill in this role.

"Today, with pride, I am pleased to announce that Emily Berret, who has served for nearly a decade in my office, will take on a new role as Deputy Chief of Staff in the Office of the Speaker," said Speaker Nancy Pelosi.
