By bringing the focus, energy, and creativity of the Obama Administration to this issue, we can implement new solutions that ensure that every child is valued as an individual.

We must all work together to create a climate in our schools, and indeed in our country, in which we treat each other with respect.

Speaker Boehner plans to discuss gas prices today at his weekly press conference, but we've seen his scorecard before. The GOP's "none of the above" drill-only plan does nothing to reduce the pain at the pump America's middle class families are facing now, but it's a hole-in-one for Speaker Boehner's Big Oil buddies.

Does Speaker Boehner realize that domestic oil production last year was at the highest level since 2003 – higher than during most of the Bush Administration?

Today the Department of Labor announced that the economy added 192,000 jobs and the unemployment rate fell to 8.9 percent in February. With 222,000 jobs added by private businesses, this marks the 12th consecutive month of private sector job growth:

Despite claims that earmarks for the 'bridges to nowhere' were eliminated, Alaska has spent more than $71 million in federal funds on the two bridges:

The Gravina Island bridge is a $304 million project that would serve an island of 50 people, who can already access the nearby city of Ketchikan, Alaska, via a five-minute ferry ride.

The Knik Arm Crossing project will build a 1.6-mile long bridge and 18 miles of connecting roads at a cost of nearly $1.6 billion.
