"Half a century ago, the White House hosted an unprecedented summit on hunger – spurring a wave of federal action that brought hope to kitchen tables and school cafeterias across the nation. Today, Americans are carrying on the fight to combat hunger, advance food justice and ensure every family has access to affordable, nutritious meals. With this year's White House Conference on Hunger, Nutrition and Health, President Biden is mobilizing renewed, nationwide action against the hunger crisis – including more than $8 billion in private- and public-sector commitments.
