At the ceremony with President Biden this morning announcing his departure from the Court, Justice Breyer's remarks were patriotic, inspiring and confident in America's future.

"Today's GDP numbers show that America had the fastest economic growth in nearly four decades, powered by Democrats' American Rescue Plan and President Biden's leadership. Last year was also the single greatest year of job growth in American history – creating 6.4 million jobs, many with better pay and better benefits.

"The Supreme Court's refusal of House Republicans' request to overturn the dismissal of their frivolous lawsuit is a victory for the Congress, the rule of law and public health. Both the Constitution and more than a century of legal precedent make clear that the House is empowered to determine its own rules – and remote voting by proxy falls squarely within this purview.

It's pretty great stuff… which is why Congressional Representatives from across the country are celebrating local projects that have finally received funding. But once again, House Republicans have been caught voting no and taking the dough!
